
POLICEWOMAN'S ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION
To unite and promote the interest and welfare of female uniform
members of the Police Department of the City of New York; to promote equal
opportunities of appointment; assignment and promotion; and to provide benefits
as determined by the constitution and by laws.
Policewomen’s Endowment Association Founded:
1921 by Rose Taylor, Ada Bearry, Mary McGuire, Minnie Ernestv and Mary Sullivan.
Membership:
Open to all females who are uniform members of the service of the Police
Department of the City of New York (active and retired). Membership is open on a
yearly basis.
Events:
The NYPEA sponsors many events throughout the year. To promote camaraderie
amongst uniform members of all ranks.
Dues:
$20 yearly or $150 for Lifetime Retired Members.
